[RECOMMANDED INSTALLATION PROCEDURE FOR CUSTOM SOUNDPACKS] Hey folks, thanks for reading this! This will show you how to install a soundpack to multiple aircraft in Flight Simulator while saving nearly gigabytes of hard drive disk space. Just follow the procedure below, thanks: 1.) Alright, so go to your flight simulator's aircraft directory (FS2004: Flight Simulator 9\Aircraft and FSX: Flight Simulator X\SimObjects\Planes) 2.) Make a new folder in your aircraft directory called "Custom Soundpacks" 3.) Unzip the file and cut/copy and paste the folder containing a bunch of .wav sound files and a file called "Sound.CFG", into the "Custom Soundpacks" folder in the aircraft directory. 4.) Now, with this soundpack I made, there is a file called "sound(this goes in the aircraft you want to use my sounds on).CFG". Rename the file and remove the (this goes in the aircraft you want to use my sounds on) stuff in the filename so it's just simply called "sound.cfg". Cut/Copy and paste this file into the sound directory of the aircraft your using and it will replace the original "sound.cfg" folder there. (Aircraft sound directory is Flight Simulator 9\Aircraft\"Custom plane" (i.e. POSKY CRJ-900 NWA V3)\sound) or for say default 737 (Flight Simulator 9\Aircraft\b737_400\sound) so basically in the aircraft folder is where all your aircraft are and you go into each specific aircraft folder and you will find a sound folder inside. 5.) But yeah, if you have followed that, repeat that last step for all the aircraft you want to apply this soundpack to. 6.) Fire up FS and enjoy the realistic sounds. That's it. If you are lost, don't worry, I have a video on my youtube account: "adambot3000" which will show a tutorial on how to do this. That's all, thanks Adam Murphy @2010 Skyhigh Sound Systems
